Foundation

  1. Thin out Your Foundation with Moisturizer

Mix some of your favorite moisturizers into your cream foundation that will help your foundation go on evenly. Also, this will help keep your skin hydrated as well as prevent your skin from producing too much oil throughout the day.

  1. Avoid Foundations with Sunscreen

Make sure your foundation doesn't contain sunscreen. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are two chemicals present in some sunscreens that can cause a flashback effect in photos which will damage all of your beautiful memory when you pick up these photos.

  1. Smear the Foundation Down Your Neck

Your face and neck are often two very different colors, especially in the summertime when you're more diligent to use sunscreen on your face than on your body. Bring the foundation all the way down the neck to ensure an even tone throughout.

Eyes

  1. Apply Concealer All over Your Lid

This will help your shadow adhere to your skin. If your lids are extra oily, apply a mattifying product first, then put your concealer on top. Finish it off with a dusting of powder. When it comes to shadows, stay away from creamy formulas, which tend to oil up. For extra insurance, apply two layers.

  1. Take a Cake-liner

If you're weary of liquid liner, take a cake liner -- and mix it with an eyeliner sealing product. After you've lined your eyes, just put some of the sealer on your liner brush, then re-trace the line you made with your cake liner.

  1. Use waterproof, long-lasting mascara

Waterproof mascara is able to keep your gorgeous makeup stay in place. Don't stress if you need to shed a tear.

Lips

You'll be kissing your new husband, kissing your guests, sipping champagne... how in the world are you supposed to keep your lipstick on all day?

  1. Moisturize Your Lips with a Balm

Moisturize your lips to keep away from chapped lips. Then take your lip pencil and color in your entire mouth to supply more holding power.

  1. Blot Your Lip with a Tissue and Powder

Once your pencil's in place, apply your lipstick, then blot with a tissue. While the tissue is still pressed to your lips, brush some loose powder on top in case of the lipstick sticks to your teeth or to the champagne goblet.

  1. Bring a Lipstick with You

Prepare a bag which you can give to your mom or maid of honor for safekeeping. It should include a compact, a lipstick, powder-free blotting papers to perfect your beauty whenever necessary.

Remember Not to Touch Your Face

Actually, this is the biggest reason makeup doesn’t last, no matter the season. Every time you touch your face, you’re wiping some of your makeup off. So don’t touch your face to keep your makeup as much as possible.
